Thomas picked up film photography in the mid 1960's later making the transition to digital work in 2004. His path to black and white work and the minimalist style have been recent activities.
Originally from Long Island, New York, Thomas is now based in Knoxville, Tennessee. As an early musician, soundman and later an audio equipment sales professional living and working in New York City.
Now living in East Tennessee since early 2012 provided access to the plentiful Tennessee State parks plus the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and beautiful Western North Carolina.
